1. Introduction
BeginClass (the “App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is provided by Beijing Zaomeng Shidai Technology Co., Ltd. This policy covers the BeginClass website and versions of the App that link to it. A platform- or region-specific notice shown inside the App may provide additional details and applies together with this policy.
2. Information We Process
Audio, media, images, and text you choose
The App processes microphone audio you authorize, device or system audio that you expressly select through Apple’s system interface, audio or video files you choose, images you capture or select, recognized text, transcripts, translations, bookmarks, note titles, and recordings associated with your notes.
On supported Apple devices, core speech recognition uses Apple’s on-device speech technologies, translation uses Apple system translation where available, and image text recognition uses Apple Vision. Recordings, transcripts, translations, bookmarks, notes, settings, and related media are generally stored in the App’s private storage on your device.
Temporary recovery data
To reduce data loss if a recording or transcription is interrupted, the App may temporarily store audio fragments, session state, transcript snapshots, bookmarks, and recovery metadata in private application storage or an App Group container. Recovery files are removed or aged out according to the App’s operational cleanup rules after a session is saved, abandoned, or no longer recoverable.
AI class summaries
BeginClass does not send a transcript for an AI summary unless you actively request one. When you choose Generate Summary, the current transcript, requested output language, and technical information needed to complete and secure the request are sent through our regional AI gateway to the configured model provider. The content is used to generate the requested summary.
Support and communications
If you contact us by email or through the 53KF customer-service page, we process the messages, attachments, contact information, and diagnostic details you choose to provide. The support page may also receive App version, build number, device model, operating-system version, language, screen characteristics, and a randomly generated support code.
Website and hosting data
The BeginClass website does not currently use advertising cookies or a third-party product-analytics script. Our hosting and security providers may automatically process standard request logs such as IP address, browser or device type, requested URL, response status, request time, and security signals to deliver and protect the website.
3. Permissions and Device Capabilities
The App requests a permission only when a related feature needs it. Depending on device and platform, this may include microphone and speech-recognition access, camera or photo access, files you select through a system picker, background audio, Picture in Picture, screen-recording or system-audio authorization, and permission for a Mac helper to show floating captions.
System-audio capture is used only for audio that another app and Apple’s system interface allow you to select. BeginClass does not use this capability to save the visual content of your screen. You can refuse or revoke a permission in system settings, but the related feature may stop working.
4. How We Use Information
We do not sell your personal information or use your audio, video, images, transcripts, or notes for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

- Save, recover, and protect recordings, transcripts, translations, bookmarks, and notes on your device
- Generate an AI class summary when you explicitly request one
- Provide support, respond to feedback, and diagnose reported problems
- Maintain compatibility, security, performance, and service reliability
- Comply with law, protect users, and prevent misuse
5. Third-Party Services
Apple platform services
Apple provides App distribution, system permissions, file and photo pickers, Speech, Translation, Vision, ReplayKit, ScreenCaptureKit, Picture in Picture, and other operating-system capabilities. Apple processes information under its own policies and platform terms.
AI gateway and model providers
AI summary requests are routed through a first-party gateway to a configured model provider appropriate to the product region and service availability. The provider receives the transcript and request information needed to generate the summary. Providers and routing may change for reliability, compliance, quality, or regional availability, and this policy will be updated when a material change affects information handling.
Support and hosting
Online customer service may be provided through 53KF, and the website may be hosted using Firebase Hosting or another production hosting service. These providers process information needed to provide their respective services.
6. Legal Bases and Consent
Depending on your location, we process information to perform our agreement with you, provide features you request, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service reliability, comply with legal obligations, or based on your consent. Where consent is required, you may decline or withdraw it through the App or system settings, subject to legal and technical limits.
7. Storage, Retention, and Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
- Local recordings, imported media, images, transcripts, translations, bookmarks, notes, and settings remain on your device until you delete them, clear App data, or uninstall the App, subject to temporary recovery files and operating-system behavior.
- AI request content and gateway logs are retained only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and protect the requested service, subject to provider configuration and applicable law.
- Support records may be kept while needed to respond to your request, maintain support history, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- Website request and security logs are retained according to hosting and security configuration.
8. How We Share Information
We may share limited information with the service providers described above, vendors acting on our behalf under appropriate protections, when required by law or legal process, to protect users and the integrity of the App, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or transfer of assets.
We do not sell personal information.
9. Your Choices and Rights
To make a privacy request, contact support@miremire.com. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where required by law.
- Delete notes, transcripts, translations, bookmarks, and associated recordings inside the App
- Clear App data or uninstall the App
- Manage microphone, speech, camera, photo, file, background-audio, system-audio, screen-capture, Picture in Picture, and helper permissions in system settings
- Choose whether to request an AI summary
- Choose what to include when contacting support
- Request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent where applicable law provides those rights
10. International Data Transfers
The App, website, support services, AI providers, and hosting providers may process information in countries or regions other than your own. Regional routing is used where configured. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
11. Children’s Privacy
BeginClass is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If local law requires a higher age for independent consent, a parent or guardian should provide any required authorization. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent.
12. Changes and Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy when product features, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required.
